Privacy Policy for Hoops Career

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Hoops Career ("the game", "we") is a basketball shooting game for iOS and Android published by Thomas Martin. This policy explains what information the game uses. Questions: support@martinhomeserver.uk.

The short version

Information saved on your device

The game stores your progress and settings in the app's local storage: coins, XP, player stats, purchases made with coins, career progress, shooting statistics, and options such as sound and your chosen player look. This data never leaves your device. If you delete the game, it is deleted. You can also clear it in the game (the Stats and Career screens have reset buttons).

Ads

The game shows ads from Google AdMob: a short video you can choose to watch for a reward, and a full-screen ad between some games. We request non-personalized ads only.

To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and use information from your device, such as your IP address, device and ad identifiers, app and device details, and information about how you interact with ads. This happens even for non-personalized ads. We do not receive or control this data. How Google handles it is described in Google's privacy policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region that requires it, the game shows a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) the first time you open it, asking about ad data use. On iOS, you can also control tracking in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, or any account or payment details. We do not sell your information. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting tools that send data to us.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at support@martinhomeserver.uk and we will delete it.

Third-party services

The game uses these services, each under its own privacy policy:

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this address. Using the game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
